No alternative to special tribunal for Russia’s crimes – Zelensky
The Ukrainian leader stated this during a joint press conference with U.S. President Joseph Biden in Kyiv, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
"In our inion, there is no alternative to creating a special tribunal. This is Ukraine's position. We will promote this position," Zelensky said.
The head of the Ukrainian state emphasized that the issue of restoring justice is extremely important both for all those who suffered from Russian terror, from the war unleashed by the Russian Federation and its aggression, and for the Ukrainian state in general.

"The aggressor must be held accountable for the aggression and compensate for all damages. I thank the President (USA — ed.) for supporting our efforts to restore justice, in particular, all our institutions, in this regard," said the president.
As reported, U.S. President Joe Biden arrived in Ukraine on a surprise visit on Monday.
In September 2022, President Vodymyr Zelensky formed a working group headed by Andr Yermak, tasked with studying the issue of creating a special tribunal to prosecute Russia’s leadership for committing the crime of aggression against Ukraine. The idea was supported by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Eure, Eurean Parliament, NATO Parliamentary Assembly, OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, and individual states.
