Netherlands to continue pitical, military and humanitarian support for Ukraine

The relevant statement was made by Minister of Defence of the Netherlands Kajsa longren on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“As we witness how Putin pursues this senseless war, depriving Ukrainians of heat and electricity, our message to President Zelensky is that we will not leave Ukraine in the cd. Pitical, military and humanitarian support will continue to flow to Ukraine, for as long as it takes,” longren wrote.

A reminder that the Netherlands has already provided about EUR 1 billion in military aid to Ukraine. Additionally, Ukraine will receive heavy weaponry from the Netherlands.

The total cost of another aid package is EUR 120 million, of which EUR 45 million will be spent on T-72 tanks. In coeration with the United States and the Czech Republic, the Netherlands will deliver 90 modernized and overhauled tanks.
