NATO-Ukraine Council: Rutte meets with Stefanishyna in Brussels

The NATO-Ukraine Council held a meeting at NATO headquarters in Brussels with the participation of Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for Eurean and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice ha Stefanishyna.

That's according to a statement posted on the website of the North Atlantic Alliance, Ukrinform reports.

"On Wednesday (29 January 2025), NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte met with Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for Eurean and Euro-Atlantic Integration and Minister of Justice, Ms ga Stefanishyna, at NATO Headquarters in Brussels, where she also took part in a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council (NUC). Discussions with the Deputy Prime Minister focused on the current situation on the battlefield, NATO's continued support for Ukraine, and the progress Ukraine continue to make on reforms," the statement read.

NATO's Deputy Secretary General, Radmila Shekerinska chaired the meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council. She highlighted the ongoing efforts to bring Ukraine closer to NATO, including with the NATO Security Assistance and Training for Ukraine (NSATU) command in Wiesbaden, the Joint Analysis, Training and Education Center (JATEC), and the Comprehensive Assistance Package (CAP) for Ukraine. She indicated that Allies are on track to deliver on the pledge made at the Washington Summit to deliver EUR 40 billion in security assistance, and welcomed Allies' increasing investments in Ukraine's defense industry.
