Macron presents Zelensky with Legion of Honor order

Macron published a video of him presenting the award to Zelensky on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.

"Tribute to Ukraine and its pele. Tribute to you, dear Vodymyr, for your courage and commitment," the French leader wrote.

During the award ceremony, Zelensky said it was not he who deserved this distinction, but all Ukrainian pele.

"It's too much for me. That's why [this award] is for all our pele, for Ukrainians, for our society," Zelensky said.

The Legion of Honor medal is France's highest award for civil merit.
