Latvia reveals the amount of aid to Ukraine through the NATO fund

The Latvian government has decided to allocate 10 million euros to support Ukraine. The funds will be used to purchase weapons and equipment.

This was stated by the head of the Latvian Ural, Evika Silinja.

Silinya said that the assistance will be provided within the framework of the PURL program. According to her, the allocated funds will be used to purchase the necessary weapons and equipment that will help Ukraine strengthen its defense.

Procurement will be carried out in the United States, which Riga considers a strategic partner that guarantees the reliability and quality of assistance.

“Latvia's contribution is within 0.25% of GDP, which confirms our support for Ukraine,” she noted.
