Kuleba, Eurean Parliament President discuss creation of special tribunal for Russia

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba and President of the Eurean Parliament Roberta Metsa discussed steps to establish a special tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy announced this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“In my call with @EP_President @RobertaMetsa, I encouraged the Eurean Parliament to keep up its vital re in tackling impunity. Flowing the relevant @Eurarl_EN resution, we coordinated steps toward creating a special tribunal for the crime of aggression against Ukraine,” Kuleba said.

As reported, in September 2022, President Vodymyr Zelensky formed a working group headed by Andr Yermak. This group works on creating a special tribunal to prosecute Russian leadership for the crime of aggression against Ukraine.

The establishment of such a tribunal has been supported by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Eure, the Eurean Parliament, the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly, and individual states.
