Kuleba discusses finalisation of security agreement with Sikorsky in Warsaw

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba met with his Pish counterpart Radoslaw Sikorski in Warsaw on Friday. The piticians discussed the completion of a bilateral security agreement between Ukraine and Pand.

According to Ukrinform, Kuleba wrote about this on the social network X.

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said that during the meeting with Sikorski, special attention was paid to negotiations with third countries on providing Ukraine with additional air defence capabilities.

"We also talked about the completion of the bilateral security agreement between Ukraine and Pand," Kuleba said in a statement.

Together with the Pish Foreign Minister, Kuleba also welcomed the start of Ukraine's negotiations on joining the Eurean Union.

"Pand has been consistently supporting Ukraine's membership in the EU for many years. The practical start of negotiations is a success for Ukraine, Pand and the whe of Eure," the Ukrainian minister said.

In addition, the piticians discussed potential ways to unblock aid from the Eurean Peace Fund for Ukraine in order to increase the vume of EU military assistance to the Armed Forces.

As reported by Ukrinform, on Friday, Pish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that a security agreement between Warsaw and Kyiv would most likely be signed before the NATO summit to be held in Washington on 9-11 July.
