Kuleba, Borrell discuss ways to speed up weapons deliveries to Ukraine
The head of Ukrainian diplomacy said this in a post on social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.
“During our meeting, Josep Borrell and I discussed ways to speed up delivery of weapons and ammunition to Ukraine, particularly air defense, in the wake of Russia’s intensified air strikes,” Kuleba posted.
He added that he emphasized the importance of further increasing Eurean defense industrial output and reiterated Ukraine’s call for EU governments to invest directly in Ukrainian arms manufacturers.
“Ukrainian companies can produce more if they have more resources at hand and investing in them is the fastest way to provide additional weapons to our frontline warriors,” the minister stressed.

The parties also discussed the use of Russia’s immobilized assets for Ukraine’s benefit and paid specific attention to the EU’s continued assistance in Ukraine’s recovery.
Kuleba thanked the EU for its willingness to provide additional energy equipment, as well as assist in the recovery of the damaged Okhmatdyt children’s hospital in Kyiv.
As Ukrinform reported, during the first plenary session of the Washington Summit, NATO Heads of State and Government discussed how to bring Ukraine closer to NATO membership and make this path irreversible.
