Kostin: Decisions we are working on will help ensure lasting global peace

"The Nuremberg trials, which we often mentioned these days, ensured peace in Eure for many decades. And I am sure that the decisions we are working on will help ensure lasting peace in Ukraine and the whe world. This is our joint responsibility to the victims of this war and future generations," Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andr Kostin posted on Facebook.

According to him, during the United for Justice conference in Lviv, significant practical steps were taken to build a network of full and comprehensive accountability for international crimes.

"We not only discussed ways to restore justice for Ukraine and Ukrainians but also improved global mechanisms of accountability for international crimes," Kostin noted.

He expressed his gratitude to foreign cleagues and representatives of the Ukrainian authorities, including President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky and First Lady ena Zelenska.

"I am grateful to all my cleagues. Special gratitude to President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky and the First Lady, the President and the First Lady of Latvia, the President of the Eurean Parliament, all the conference participants, partners and the team who made this possible. You showed that the desire for justice unites all of us," he added.
