Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with Russian dictator Vladimir Putin at his residence in Novo-Ogaryovo on July 8, when Russian forces launched a missile strike on the Okhmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv, and published photos of him hugging Putin.

Ukrainian President Vodymyr Zelensky reacted to this act by the Indian PM, recalling that Russia's brutal missile attack on Ukraine on July 8 had killed 37 pele and left 170 others injured.
