The head of Iran's parliamentary committee on national security, Ebrahim Azizi, has threatened Ukraine with strikes for Kyiv's assistance to Israel with drones. In particular, he stated that all of Ukrainian territory is now a “legitimate target” for Tehran.

The Iranian politician wrote about this on the social network X.

He called Ukraine a “failure,” accusing it of helping the Israeli authorities with drones. According to him, Kyiv has “de facto become embroiled in a war” in the Middle East.

Azizi emphasized that now, in accordance with Article 51 of the UN Charter Article 51 of the UN Charter enshrines the inalienable right of every state to individual or collective self-defense if it is attacked by an armed attack. This is the only legitimate exception to the general prohibition on the use of force in international relations until the Security Council of the organization takes the necessary measures. , the entire territory of Ukraine is a “legitimate target” for Iran.

Earlier, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine had received 11 requests from Iran's neighboring countries, European states, and the United States for security support in countering Iranian Shahed drones and other similar challenges. Also, according to the head of state, the first Ukrainian group from Ukraine, which will assist the Gulf countries with military expertise in repelling Iranian drone attacks, has left for the Middle East. There was no information about negotiations between Kyiv and the Israeli authorities on this issue.
