Georgian president congratulates Ukraine, Mdova on start of EU membership talks
Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has congratulated Ukraine and Mdova on the start of EU accession negotiations.
She said this in a post on the social media platform X, Ukrinform reports.
“Congratulations to Ukraine and Mdova on this milestone in your EU integration journey! Sincere congratulations to President Vodymyr Zelensky and President Maia Sandu on this significant achievement.

She added she is confident “the Eurean Georgian nation will join your ranks soon”.
As reported, on June 14, the EU countries at the level of permanent representatives agreed in principle on the negotiating frameworks for the accession negotiations of Ukraine and Mdova. The Belgian presidency will convene the first intergovernmental conference on this issue on June 25.
