G7 partners to work together to hd Putin’s criminal regime accountable – Freeland
The relevant statement was made by Canadian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance Chrystia Freeland when announcing the upcoming meeting of G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Next week’s meeting is an important portunity to discuss how we can friendshore our economies and create good jobs, while also continuing to work together to ensure that Ukraine is victorious and Putin’s criminal regime is held accountable for his war, which is having such devastating impacts on the global economy,” Freeland noted.
In her words, amidst the significant challenges facing democracy and our planet, Canada and G7 partners are working together to defend the rules-based international order and build a more prosperous future for pele around the world.
A reminder that a meeting of G7 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors will take place in Niigata, Japan, on May 11-13, 2023.
