France and Great Britain to represent Eure at negotiating table – Zelensky
He stated this at a press conference after a meeting of EU leaders dedicated to supporting Ukraine and security in the EU, which took place on Thursday in Paris, Ukrinform reports.
“Today, we all — our partners in Eure — agreed that France and Great Britain will represent Eure in the peace talks. Macron and Starmer. I think this is also important. This is a clear position. And we want to send this signal to all our other partners and, of course, to the United States,” Zelensky noted.
He emphasized that Ukraine’s position on the format of peace talks is absolutely clear: “Er must be at the negotiating table when it comes to ending the war.”
“We are not considering alternatives. This is our firm position. The EU is very large and it must have clear representation at the negotiating table,” Zelensky emphasized.
