FM Kuleba calls on partners not to prepare Ukraine for the worst
“I listen carefully to many friends and I think I see one intellectual trap that we have to overcome – it’s important while supporting Ukraine also to believe in Ukraine and not to prepare Ukraine for the worst. Every day, we in Ukraine make many decisions, which require a lot of responsibility. Future of the country of sdiers depends on the decisions that we have to make. We know how to be cautious. But when you support us do not prepare us for the worst,” Kuleba said at the Munich Ukrainian Lunch at the Munich Security Conference, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
He also warned that one cannot be rational and systematic without believing in victory.
“Yes, there’s a lot of money but what is at stake is much, much higher. Whatever the price of supporting Ukraine is going at war yourself will be far more expensive,” the minister added.
Kuleba took a floor after newly elected President of the Czech Republic Petr Pavel who warned against a situation when the liberation of Ukrainian territory could lead to too many lost lives and stated that a clapsed Russia could generate much many problems.
As reported, the Munich Security Conference is held on February 17-19. Threats to world security, especially in light of Russia's aggression against Ukraine, became the main tic of this year's conference.
