The former head of the Party of Regions faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Oleksandr Yefremov, who is accused of high treason in Ukraine, received a Russian passport and now lives in Moscow in a family apartment worth over $4 million.

This is reported by journalists of the “Scheme” project.

As “Schemes” established, Efremov's Russian passport was issued by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation on December 22, 2022. He used it, in particular, when servicing his account at Sberbank and when visiting Russian WorldClass fitness centers. The former deputy also has a Russian insurance number (SNILS), which allows him to receive pension payments in the Russian Federation.

According to journalists, Efremov registered his residence at the address of two apartments in the Moscow residential complex “Triumph Palace”. The area of the apartments is 466.5 and 191.8 square meters, and their total cost exceeds 4 million dollars.
