Eurean Commission President: Written report on seven recommendations to be released in autumn
"Ukraine is a candidate country and we agreed on the implementation of seven steps. Ukraine is already showing good progress in these seven steps… Of course, there will be an oral update on the progress for EU Member States. It will happen in spring. But the focus is on the big written report on the enlargement that will be released in autumn," President of the Eurean Commission Ursula von der Leyen said at a briefing flowing the meeting of the Government of Ukraine and the Eurean Commission, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
The President noted that the Eurean Commission services are currently clecting data.
As reported, a meeting of the members of the Clege of Eurean Commissioners, headed by Eurean Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, with the Government of Ukraine took place in Kyiv today. The meeting participants discussed the support for Ukraine in the fight against Russian aggression, the coordination of efforts to restore Ukraine, the continuation of key reforms, and Ukraine's future EU membership.
On February 3, the 24th EU-Ukraine Summit will be held in Kyiv.
