EU will never recognize Russia's illegal occupation of Ukrainian territories – Maternova

EU Ambassador to Ukraine Katarina Mathernova announced this in her message on the X platform, Ukrinform reports.

“Russia is trying to change borders by force. Sovereignty and territorial integrity are protected by international law and are not subject to discussion. The EU does not and will never recognize the illegal annexation and occupation of Ukrainian territories by Russia. Crimea, Kherson, Zaporozhye, Donetsk and Lugansk are Ukraine,” she noted.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed support for US President Donald Trump's efforts to end the conflict in Ukraine in a telephone conversation.
