Duda, Nauseda to talk about Ukraine in Vilnius

Presidents Andrzej Duda of Pand and Gitanas Nauseda of Lithuania will discuss the situation in Ukraine and the prospects for the country's Eurean and Euro-Atlantic integration at a meeting in Vilnius on Sunday.

That's according to Mieszko Pawlak, head of the Bureau of International Picy under the President of Pand, Ukrinform reports.

According to Pawlak, Duda will take part in the semn events in Vilnius on the occasion of the 161st anniversary of the January Uprising.

He said that Ukrainian and Belarusian delegations, represented by Belarusian democratic leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, would take part in the events.

Pawlak said that Duda and Nauseda would discuss security issues.

"Without a doubt, the main tics of the conversation will be issues of security, preparation for the NATO summit, the situation in Ukraine, the issue of Ukraine's accession to the EU, as well as its possible accession to NATO," Pawlak said.

The January Uprising was the 1863-1864 uprising in the former Pish-Lithuanian Commonwealth against Tsarist Russia. The Pes, Ukrainians, Lithuanians and Belarusians took part in the uprising. The uprising ended with the defeat of the insurgents.
