Danilov names main goal of Russian attacks on Odesa
This is how the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council, eks Danilov, commented on Facebook on Russia’s latest attack targeting Odesa overnight Sunday, Ukrinform reports.
"According to the Kremlin's plan, artificial conditions for threats of famine should be created, first of all, for African countries, and an increase in the level of migration threat for Eure. The Russians expect that through blackmail they will force the West to negotiate and accept Putin's ‘grain ultimatum’ – the resumption of Russian ammonia exports, the lifting of some sanctions and other restrictions," Danilov said.

In turn, the destruction of the Ukrainian infrastructure, which ensures the functioning of the "grain corridor", should make the world dependent on Russian grain and their logistics and capabilities, according to Putin's plan, Danilov added.
"The plan is to bring the world to its knees and make Russia a unique grain supplier. After the failure of the ‘energy superpower’ idea, Putin wants to become a ‘grain superempire.’”
“Ukraine understands and is aware of these intentions, we will react apprriately and, first of all, we will fully respond to the killings and destruction," Danilov believes.
The Secretary of the NSDC called on the world and the West to show firmness and inviability and "give a worthy response to the Kremlin rat", which should be about the full restoration of the Ukrainian "grain corridor" under the international security guarantees.
