The Lviv Regional Prosecutor's Office posted on Telegram that prosecutors of the Stryi District Prosecutor's Office had completed a pre-trial investigation and sent an indictment to the court against the former head of one of the district departments of land resources in the Lviv region on the facts of abuse of office and forgery.
The investigation established that the official issued and signed forged documents based on which state acts of ownership for five land plots were illegally issued. The land plots are located in the Slavske united territorial community (Lviv region).
Later, the ownership of these land plots was acquired by a company whose ultimate beneficiary is the wife of the leader of the banned Ukraine party "position Platform — For Life". The National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine included Marchenko in the sanctions list.
Thus, five land plots were illegally removed from state ownership. Last year, the court seized three land plots.
This year, at the request of the prosecutor, two more plots worth UAH 17.5 million were seized.
