Canada sanctions Yanukovych-era officials

The updated list of sanctions has been published on the website of the Canadian government, Ukrinform reports.

Canada introduced restrictive measures against Vitalii Zakharchenko, Myka Azarov, eksii Azarov, Andrii Kliuiev, Serh Kurchenko, Viktor Pshonka, Artem Pshonka, Dmytro Tabachnyk, Raisa Bohatyriova, and eksandr Yakymenko.

The sanctions consist of an asset freeze and a travel ban on the sanctioned individuals in Canada.

Since Russia's temporary occupation of Crimea, Canada has imposed sanctions on more than 3,000 individuals and legal entities that contributed to the viation of Ukraine's sovereignty.
