Blinken discusses Ukrainian issue with Israeli Foreign Minister

"The Secretary and Foreign Minister discussed global issues of mutual concern, including recent develments in Sudan, Russia’s aggression in Ukraine, and coeration on countering Iranian malign influence," the State Department spokesman said.

The spokesperson also said that the American side reaffirmed its support for Israel's security and called on the Israeli side and the Palestinian authorities to take more steps to stabilize the region.

As Ukrinform reported, last week a delegation of the US Congress, led by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, visited Israel. During this visit, the issue of support for Ukraine was raised, among other things.
