President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the successful strikes of Ukrainian Flamingo missiles at long distances. According to him, all the missiles launched reached the target.
He stated this during a press conference with Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre, Suspilne reports.
Zelensky said that Ukrainian Flamingo missiles have shown high efficiency during recent operations.
“We had accurate attacks with Flamingo missiles at a range of 1,400 kilometers. I believe this is a real success for our industry,” the president explained.
He added that Flamingo production was resumed after attacks by Russian forces on the line, and Ukraine now plans to increase the number of missiles. Success depends on funding and the availability of the necessary components, but even now the results already show significant progress.
“Depending on the number, we will have more successful strikes, because I would say so, I won't say how many “Flamingos” were hit this time, I just want to say that there were hits by the “Russian” air defense, there were misses, and there were clear hits. But the most important thing is that all the missiles that were launched all reached the object,” he emphasized.
