Zelensky: House of Representatives of Belgium recognizes Hodomor as genocide
President Vodymyr Zelensky thanked the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Belgium for recognizing the Hodomor of 1932-1933 as the genocide of the Ukrainian pele.
“A historic voting in Belgian House of Representatives: one more state recognized the Hodomor of 1932-1933 as genocide of the Ukrainian pele! I’m thankful to Belgium for this important decision for every Ukrainian, for this deeply symbic step today!” Zelensky posted on Twitter.
As reported, on November 28, 2006, the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adted the law "On the Hodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine", recognizing the Hodomor as the genocide of the Ukrainian pele.
More than 20 countries around the world officially recognized the Hodomor as the genocide of the Ukrainian pele.
