Zelensky congratulated Marines on professional hiday

That’s according to President Vodymyr Zelensky, who issued a greeting on the occasion of Marine Corps Day, Ukrinform reports.

“Prepared for erations on land, at sea, and in the air, Ukrainian marines successfully perform complex tasks. They are motivated, strong, and brave. The enemy feels the power of our warriors. Thank you for defending our homeland!” wrote Zelensky

The president also honored the memory of heroes who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the future of the Ukrainian state.

“Glory to the Ukrainian Marines! Glory to Ukraine!” Zelensky added.

He also shared on Telegram a number of photos of Ukrainian sdiers, taken during combat missions.

Every year since 2018, Ukraine celebrates Marine Corps Day on May 23.
