In response, Solomko said: “It's a pity that my country does not accept me the way they accept me here.”
When Russia launched a full-scale war in Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the star condemned such actions. She even posted a post on social media with these words.

However, that was the last time the singer said anything like that. She remained silent for five months, and then in the summer she dared to do a very cynical thing when she decided to perform in front of the Russians and also declare that she was pleased to perform in front of these people.

I moved to Russia in 2018, before the war, and it was a completely professional decision. I had contractual obligations. During the war, being in Russia as a Ukrainian was difficult. In the end, I managed to finish my contract and leave Russia for the USA. Russia was not my homeland. I am Ukrainian, and that will never change, no matter what anyone says or writes,
