People order meals at the street food festival Ulichnaya Eda held at Platforma Art Factory in Kyiv. After a 1.5-year pandemic break, the festival is coming back with the first 2021 edition on June 5-6.

Veselka (Rainbow in Ukrainian) is one of few queer parties held in Kyiv, raising LGBTQ friendliness one event at a time. For the first time in its history, Veselka is exchanging stuffy club settings for an open-air location by the Dnipro River. “Our principles remain the same: No sexism, no racism, no Homophobia,” the organizers say. The star lineup of the two-day party is full of impressive names including Berlin-based Tham and Dax J, and Julian Muller coming from Brussels. Ukrainians to play by the decks are Danilenko, Daria Kolosova, Koloah, Nastya Muravyova, Denis Polyakov and others. The organizers will disclose the location on the day of the event.

Veselka. Secret location to be announced. June 4-5, starting at 10 p.m. Tickets available for Hr 700 here.
