UN Security Council to hd meeting on Russia’s crimes against Ukrainian children

According to Ukrinform, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andr Yermak, announced this in a Telegram message.

“Today, at 17:00 (Kyiv time), a meeting of the UN Security Council “Maintenance of Peace and Security of Ukraine” will be held, which is convened to draw special attention to gross viations and war crimes against children committed by the Russian Federation during its war against Ukraine,” Yermak said.

According to Yermak, “one of the key issues of the meeting is the report of the Yale University Humanitarian Research Laboratory ‘Russia's Systematic Program of Forced Adtion and Guardianship of Ukrainian Children’, which was released yesterday.

“My advisor, Bring Kids Back UA's Chief erating Officer Daria Zarivna, will demonstrate the scale of crimes Russia is committing against Ukrainian children, including murder, maiming, illegal deportation, forced displacement, re-education and militarization of Ukrainian children in the TOT,” the head of the added.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, President Vodymyr Zelensky said that Yale University researchers had identified hundreds of Ukrainian children from Donetsk and Luhansk regions who had been abducted by Russia since February 2022.
