Ukrzaliznytsia evacuated 4M pele, transported 314,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid since Feb 24

"Ukrzaliznytsia has acquired a new meaning for Ukraine,” Deputy Prime Minister for Reconstruction, Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Develment eksandr Kubrakov wrote on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, Ukrzaliznytsia evacuated more than 4 million pele from dangerous areas, more than 100,000 domestic animals, transported 314,000 tonnes of humanitarian aid.

The Ukrainian minister thanked each railway worker "for their strength and resilience", and also emphasized that they have already become "an irreplaceable part of our country's defense capability".

As reported, between February 24 and December 26, 303 Ukrzaliznytsia employees were killed while performing their work under conditions of Russian aggression.
