Ukrainian director Tanu Muiño wins 3 MTV Video Music Awards alongside Lil Nas X


Lil Nas X accepts the MTV Video Music Award for Video of the Year for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name)” that he co-directed with Ukrainian director Tanu Muiño during a ceremony in New York City on Sept. 12, 2021.

It’s safe to say that Ukrainian director Tanu Muiño has won 2021.

Muiño collected three MTV Video Music Awards for “Montero (Call Me By Your Name),” a music video for U.S. rapper Lil Nax X. She co-directed the video along with Lil Nax X himself. The ceremony took place in New York City on Sept. 12.
