Ukraine’s Embassy in Mdova vows “resute reaction” to facts of disrespect to flag

That’s according to the relevant statement the mission posted on social networks in the wake of reports of an alleged ban on the use of Ukrainian flags at a gig by a Russian artist Noize MC and the World Dance Championship in Chisinau, Ukrinform reports.

"The Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Mdova is carefully studying all the circumstances of the mentioned incidents. In the event that the facts of disrespect of/insult to the National Flag of Ukraine are confirmed, the reaction will be decisive and unequivocal," diplomats assured.

As reported earlier, on April 22, a Russian artist Ivan Alekseev aka Noize MC, who has condemned the Kremlin's war of aggression and moved out of Russia, performed in Chisinau The security guards hired by the venue were allegedly “rudely” seizing Ukrainian flags from attendees taking them to the show.

A week before, on April 16, Chisinau hosted the WDSF PD World Championship Latin Adult. According to the Ukrainian dancers, the organizers of the championship, the Sports Dance Federation of Mdova, forbade them to take the Ukrainian flag to the inaugural ceremony.
