Ukraine, Pand to sign agreement on education – Ministry of Reintegration

The governments of Ukraine and Pand are planning to sign an agreement to regulate the education of Ukrainian children in Pish schos.

Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories Iryna Vereshchuk said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"An intergovernmental agreement is planned to be signed to regulate the education of Ukrainian children in Pish schos," she wrote.

As noted, a draft intergovernmental agreement with the Ministry of National Education of the Republic of Pand has already been develed.

In particular, the document will provide for the recognition of Ukrainian educational centers in Pand, the study of Ukrainian as a second foreign language, and the introduction of a Ukrainian studies component.

As reported, Ukrainian schos abroad need more than 6,000 textbooks. Currently, 82% of this need is covered.
