What is the history of the band “Aviator”?
The band was formed in Kyiv in 2005. Its future members, Igor Voyevutsky and Dmytro Todoryuk, met on the show “Chance” and, together with Yuliy Nikitin, decided to create a boy band. Later, they were joined by another musician, Andriy Storozh.
Already in the first year of its existence, the band “Aviator” made a loud statement about itself. In May 2005, the band performed the song “Vozvrachaysya”, and in December their debut album “V эфире” was released. The album sold more than 200 thousand copies.

By the way , the name of the group was suggested by Andriy Storozh. After all, each of the participants was connected with aviation in their own way.
Thus, the band began its activities under the leadership of the Mamamusic center. In February 2006, “Aviator” received the “Golden Disc” award for their first album. Then the band went on a large-scale tour of Ukraine with Verka Serdyuchka, Iryna Bilyk and Maria Burmaka, and also won the ShowBiz Awards in the “Discovery of the Year” nomination.

In 2012, “Aviator” stopped cooperating with the production center and opened its own label. The band also became the first in Ukrainian show business to play a concert on board an airplane at an altitude of 10 thousand meters.
After 6 years, the band announced important changes – Igor Voyevutsky left the band.
After a sincere conversation, the three of us decided that Igor would create his own story, and we would continue the flight of the Aviator as a couple. There were rumors that one of the reasons for this decision was conflicts between the participants. In an interview in 2025, Andriy Storozh confirmed that the misunderstandings occurred over a business background.
“Probably, for me, friendship is a little different. In both friendship and business, it is important to hear each other. Unfortunately, this did not happen. We just stopped working, but, of course, I will extend my hand and we will chat. I am happy for him that he is now defending our country, and I only treat him with respect,” the musician told Slava Dyomin.

The band “Aviator” has not ceased to exist – it continues its creative activity. Andriy and Dmytro work in a duet, they continue to record songs and perform.

Dmytro Todoryuk continues to be actively involved in music. In addition to his activities in the band, he is a soloist and director of the rock opera “Patriot”.
Last year, the musician admitted that he had embarked on the path to betrayal – he was corresponding with another woman. Dmitry considered divorce, but the marriage was saved. Dmitry and Olga are raising two daughters.

Andriy Storozh realizes himself not only as a member of the band “Aviator”, but also as a producer and composer. He helps in the development of such artists as KVITKA GAEVSKA and VINOKUROVA.
Andriy Storozh is also a vocal coach at the Zmina Art Lyceum.
Where is Igor Voyevutsky now?
The musician began a solo career after leaving the band “Aviator” and worked on his own musical projects. After the start of the full-scale invasion, he joined the army, and his wife and daughter went abroad.
Now Igor Voyevutsky's family is in Ukraine. And the artist himself is part of the “Azov” brigade and is a driver of the evacuation group. In June 2025, Voyevutsky was awarded the “Cross of Honor”.
