His daughter shared how she is experiencing her father's death. She spoke about this in an interview with the Telegraf publication.

This is the hardest period of my life. This loss cannot be described in words, and I understand that this pain will never go away. But now we want to continue his work, because until the last days, dad only spoke about how proud he was of us and how much he believed in us. This is what gives me the strength to move on today,

What is known about the death of Stepan Giga?
In November 2025, it became known that Stepan Giga was in the hospital in serious condition. His team reported that the artist had undergone surgery.
Doctors tried to stabilize his condition, but a few weeks later the singer died in intensive care in Lviv.
Stepan Giga's children later revealed that the cause of the singer's death was diabetes and an infection that his body could not cope with.
The singer's funeral took place in Lviv. First, a memorial service was held at the Garrison Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul, after which Stepan Giga was buried at the Lychakiv Cemetery.
