American actor Sean Penn has been supporting Ukraine since the first days of the full-scale invasion. He starred in the film “Red Rue Train,” which will be released this summer.

Producer and actor Yuriy Gorbunov spoke about his collaboration with Sean Penn in a comment for “TSN. Glamour.” He admitted that the Oscar winner did not ask for any fees for filming in the film.

We didn't have a fee. I don't know his fees. We had our friendship, interaction together with our strategic partners – Ukrzaliznytsia. I don't know his fee, and thank God. I think if we had paid him a fee, we probably wouldn't have made the movie,
– admitted Gorbunov.

The producer added that Sean Penn didn't ask for anything special from the rider either. He just asked that other people not film him.

“He doesn't like it when he's in the frame and someone is filming from the side on a phone. We made sure that no one was filming from the side. This was his entire rider that was available to us,” Gorbunov shared.
