In the marriage of notary daughter Khrystyna Gornyak and showman Volodymyr Ostapchuk, the only jointly acquired property was a house in the suburbs of Kyiv. It was around this dwelling that public disputes arose more than once, even after the divorce, in particular between the former and current wives of the TV presenter.
Khrystyna Gornyak detailed the story of the purchase and division of this house after the divorce. She mentioned this in an interview for Alina Dorotyuk's YouTube channel.
Thus, according to Gornyak, during their relationship with Ostapchuk, the couple lived in rented apartments for some time, so they later decided to buy their own housing. After searching and viewing various plots, they settled on a two-story house in the elite cottage town “Zoloche Provence” in the village of Vyshenki near Kyiv. They decided to build a house, but the couple did not have the full amount at that time, so they made the first payment and arranged for a deferral. The land plot was formally registered in the name of Volodymyr Ostapchuk, however, as Khrystyna explained, she officially gave her consent, which stated that the funds for the purchase were joint.
We registered it in Volodymyr's name. He was a party to the land purchase agreement, but I gave my consent, which stated that the cost of purchasing this property was the joint assets of the couple. And he saw that. And if it wasn't so, he would have registered this house in his parents' name,
– said Gornyak.
The down payment for the house was $50,000. According to the notary, she contributed part of the money from her savings.
We had 50 thousand for the down payment – it was my money and Volodymyr’s money. Mine was 20 thousand. I sold my first car, I earned money somewhere, I saved somewhere, I have parents. Nobody lent me money then,
– the woman added.
Gornyak also noted that during the relationship she covered a significant part of household expenses – she paid for groceries, parking and utilities. According to her, they built the house together and paid for it in installments. In October 2022, Volodymyr Ostapchuk and Khrystyna Gornyak officially divorced. After the breakup, they could not agree on the division of real estate for a long time. In the end, in March 2025, Volodymyr Ostapchuk and Khrystyna Gornyak were able to resolve the property issue. The parties reached a compromise and concluded an agreement on the division of joint property.
I hired a lawyer, he hired a lawyer. They came to an agreement and divided this house according to the law and conscience,
– explained Gornyak.
Given this, after the sale of the home, the proceeds should be divided in half. The house was valued at $190,000. Gornyak explained that she would not agree to sell it for less, since after paying taxes and other expenses, her share would be significantly reduced.
I said that this is my final price. I still have taxes, because now my share has only been allocated on paper. I will still have taxes for three years, plus 5% real estate, plus 10 thousand dollars for the Armed Forces of Ukraine (earlier, Khrystyna Gornyak set a condition for the Ostapchuks that after selling the house, they give 10 thousand dollars to the collection for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, – 24 Channel). And in the end, I will not get such a large share. Volodymyr has no taxes, because his share was fixed a long time ago,
– said Christina.
The first potential buyer offered $160 for the house, but Gornyak decided not to rush into selling.
There is such an option, I can't say that they wanted to tell me that this house was sold for 160 thousand dollars, but in fact they sold it for 190. And they also told me that I wouldn't be able to choose the notary. That's why I felt that something was wrong,
– said Gornyak.
Later, the situation was complicated by Russian shelling – an airstrike occurred in the cottage town, as a result of which the house was damaged. According to Khrystyna, there is currently practically no communication with Volodymyr Ostapchuk and his current wife Kateryna. They plan to transfer their share to close relatives and are not going to engage in the restoration of the house. Currently, Gornyak's main goal is to sell the house at a favorable price.

What is known about the relationship between Khrystyna Gornyak and Volodymyr Ostapchuk?
- The future couple met in August 2019. It happened at the wedding of Gornyak's friends in Italy, where Ostapchuk worked as a host. At that time, Volodymyr was still married to Olena Voichenko. As Khrystyna said, their relationship began after the showman broke up with his first wife. Their marriage was officially dissolved on March 6, 2020.
- Volodymyr proposed to Khrystyna a year after they met – in August 2020 during a trip to Istanbul. Before that, the couple had been living together for a year. Ostapchuk and Gornyak's wedding took place in October 2020.
- The couple officially divorced in October 2022. Khrystyna explained that one of the reasons for the breakup was Volodymyr's aggressive behavior after drinking alcohol.
- Currently, Volodymyr Ostapchuk is married to Kateryna Poltavska. The couple began dating in 2022, and on October 4, 2025, they celebrated the third anniversary of their relationship. The couple is raising a joint son, Timofey.
