Oleksandr Polozhynsky is well known for his legendary band “Tartak”. And, perhaps not everyone knows, the artist also owns several other original projects, such as “Bouvie” and “Ol. Iv.'E”.

The singer was born in Lutsk. He loved music since childhood, but after the 8th grade he entered a boarding school with enhanced military and physical training. The Tartak band and other projects
It all started with the Lutsk band “Flies in Tea”. Later, as a showman, he joined the punk project “Makarov & Peterson”. In 1996, Polozhynskyi was eager to become a participant in the “Chervona Ruta” festival, but there was one problem – there was no band, but there was passion and 4 songs. Sasha was very lucky then, because there were participants for the “Tartak” group. Then the young team won.

Two years later, “Tartak” went on its first tour, but for some reason the band was banned from performing in open-air venues in Kyiv. After some time, bright albums and tracks began to be released, which officially became hits.

In total, during the band's existence, 10 albums were released and hundreds of concerts were played.

In parallel with the existence of the collective, Polozhinsky also worked as a presenter on television and radio. In particular, he hosted the programs “Russian Roller Coasters”, “Fresh Blood”, and also collaborated with Kuzmenko, Pelikh and Davydov in the project “DSP Show”.
Let us recall that in 2020, Sashko made a statement that he was leaving the Tartak group.
Even earlier, in 2014, the “Bouvier” project was created, but in the same 2020, the artist left that too.

Service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine
When the full-scale war began, the former leader of “Tartak” signed a contract to serve in the reserve of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since May 2022, Polozhynskyi has been serving in the 47th battalion (now a brigade), and after a while even became a detachment commander.

Almost three years ago, due to health reasons, Polozhynskyi stopped serving in the 47th Magura Rifle Brigade and began serving in another unit.
Sasha was given a job at the radio station “Army FM”, although he did not want it. However, he had to carry out the order from the management.

The artist was also asked if the military salary was enough for him, and he honestly answered that it was not. However, Oleksandr receives royalties for his work. This way he covers his own needs and financially helps the Ukrainian army.

The singer lives and works in Ukraine, actively helping the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Polozhynsky does not talk about his personal life, probably because he is still single.
