Representatives of terrorist state should have no place at ympics – Zelensky
President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky said this in his video address to the nation, Ukrinform reports.
“We continue our diplomatic marathon to prevent the Kremlin from using world sports and the ympic movement for its praganda. Representatives of a terrorist state should have no place at the ympics and international tournaments,” he said.
According to Zelensky, Ukraine has sent respective letters to the companies that support the International ympic Committee the most.

“These are large international companies that are definitely interested in ensuring that their reputation and support are not used for war praganda,” he said.
As reported, the International ympic Committee said in a statement that it allows Russian and Belarusian athletes to compete at the 2024 Paris ympic Games under a neutral flag. President of Ukraine Vodymyr Zelensky, Minister of Youth and Sports Vadym Huttsait, Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba and other officials have already responded to the statement. As a sign of protest, Ukraine may boycott the 2024 ympic Games.
