Prince Harry meets paramedic Paevskaya during visit to Ukraine
According to information provided by Paevskaya on Instagram, Ukrinform reports.
“Prince Harry came without any pomp, without a motorcade or theatrics. He was just there with us, like one of us. A man who understands loss. Who knows what it means to serve. And what it means to get back up. I was so happy to hold him again, along with the Invictus team. Together, we are not just survivors, but Pele’s, moving forward, helping others stay strong, and still managing to crack jokes along the way. It’s like a warm, international conspiracy of resilience. Ironic, bright-eyed, scarred – both inside and out – scars that only make us stronger,” she wrote.
She noted that the Invictus Games is not about medals, but about the story of Pele, who refused to break down – “about those who could have lain there feeling sorry for themselves, but instead chose to keep fighting, even without all their limbs, and laugh in the face of adversity.”
Tyra also expressed her sincere gratitude to the Superhuman Center for their “incredible efforts” and cutting-edge expertise in recovery.
“For new arms, new legs, the ability to breathe. For strength. For faith. For supporting wounded soldiers and all our brothers and sisters in arms. For uniting us – not as scattered fragments of war, but as a new army of life. The Invincible Games will be held in Ukraine! And for those who still doubt us – we will not give up. Now we have gorgeous English reinforcements,” added Paevskaya.
Earlier it was reported that Prince Harry visited Ukraine and the Superhumans rehabilitation center in Lviv, where he met with victims of the war, which was started by Russia.
