Pe Francis calls for prayers for Ukraine

The relevant message was posted on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

"During these days of Hy Week, let us pray together more intensely for the war-torn pele of Ukraine, and for all peles experiencing war, that with God's help, paths of peace might be ened," Pe Francis wrote.

As reported, the Pe greeted all those attending the Palm Sunday celebration, as well as believers around the world, asking everyone to unite in prayers for peace, also mentioning Ukraine in his address.

Also, Pe Francis offered his blessing to a peace caravan that had left Italy for Ukraine to bring humanitarian aid.

He noted that this is “a sign of the closeness of the pele of Italy to the battered pele of Ukraine.”
