More than 2,100 bodies of citizens remain unidentified in Ukraine.

"As of today, more than 2,100 bodies remain unidentified in Ukraine. It is impossible to predict how many there will be tomorrow, in a week, in a month. That's why it is already necessary today to do massive DNA profiling, so that it is possible to quickly react and identify every dead person, both our sdiers of the Security and Defense Forces and civilians," he said.

Asked whether online registration for the delivery of DNA samples for Ukrainians abroad will be free of charge, he stated that no expenses would be required from citizens during the clection of biogical material in the branches of the state-owned enterprise Dokument.

In early March 2022, about 2,800 bodies remained unidentified due to the lack of comparative DNA material.
