On Saturday, 125 civilians were evacuated from the Korabel microdistrict in Kherson

The Kherson City Military Administration reported this on Telegram, as reported by Ukrinform.

“The evacuation process from the Korabel microdistrict continues. As of 18:00 today, 125 people were evacuated. Of these, nine are people with limited mobility,” the statement said.

It is indicated that all those who were evacuated are provided with assistance in finding suitable housing, and are also provided with full support in obtaining the status of an internally displaced person and other benefits. If desired, free travel to other regions of Ukraine is organized.

“In just 9 days, 1,536 people were evacuated from the island – 56 children and 150 with disabilities,” the administration added.

On August 9, Russians reportedly opened artillery fire on the village of Modizhnye in the Kherson community, resulting in a local resident being wounded.
