Olga Freimut was born in Novy Rozdol, Lviv Oblast. Her mother is a master of sports in swimming, and her father is a football player.
This is a place where Ukrainian traditions and culture are highly respected. And I lived there like a forest owl, absorbing these traditions,
– the presenter recalled.

Olga studied in Lviv and received a master's degree in international journalism. She also received a post-graduate diploma from City University of London, where she interned at the BBC. After 2004, Olga Freimut returned to Ukraine and began working as a journalist: first in the international sphere, then in fashion.
And in 2008, she became a co-host with Serhiy Prytula and Oleksandr Pedan on the morning program “Pidyom.” The colleagues worked together for 3 years.

At the end of August 2011, the program “Revisor” was launched on television. In it, Olga Freimut inspected service establishments for quality. This show was one of the most successful on the “New Channel”.
It's so nice when you come in and get caught up in human emotions. For me, it was a game that improves service in Ukraine,
– this is how the presenter recalled the emotions from the show “Inspector”.
Freimut was also the host of the program “Who's on Top?” together with Serhiy Prytula. Against the backdrop of her crazy popularity, she became the face of collections by Ukrainian designers, was included in the rating of the most successful hosts, and was the face of brands.
Later, for a while, Olga Freimut left “Novy Kanal” and began hosting the author's show “Inspector Freimut”, “Voice of the Country. Reboot” and others on “1+1”.
In 2018, she returned to “Novyi”, became the director of a school for young ladies in the show “From Boy to Young Lady”, and in the summer her program “Olya” premiered. It was a legal adaptation of the “Ellen DeGeneres Show” format. The show was closed a month later.
It was one of the best adaptations. It probably needed more support from the channel and a different time. They put us in at the worst time and that killed the project, didn't give it a chance,
– Freimut believes regarding the failure of “Oli”.
What is known about Olga Freimut's personal life?
At the age of 23, Olga Freimut became a mother for the first time – she had a daughter, Zlata, from Briton Neil Mitchell. The couple failed to build a relationship due to radically different personalities. Therefore, Olya raised her daughter in Kyiv.
As a teenager, Zlata Mitchell continued her studies in the United States. She is currently in Los Angeles, where she is engaged in dancing and receiving an education.

While working at the “New Channel”, Olga Freimut met its general director Volodymyr Lokotko. At first they denied the relationship, but later it became known that Olga and Volodymyr became parents. In 2016, the presenter gave birth to a son, Valery, and a year later – a daughter, Evdokia.
It should be noted that Volodymyr Lokotko was born in Kazakhstan and lived in Russia. He currently uses a Kazakh passport, but cannot give up his Russian one, because to do so he would have to go to the aggressor country.
Where is Olga Freimut now?
Olga Freimut faced a full-scale invasion in France. The family later moved to the UK, as the presenter has relatives and friends there.
Olga got a job at The Sunday Express, where she wrote her own column. Freimut worked in this position for 2 years. Later, the presenter got a job at the Ukrainian Embassy in Britain and created the “Manners Club” in London.
This is a beautiful project, where we talk not only about etiquette. But also about communication, language, style… This is a club that has united many women. I work officially, I pay taxes in both Britain and Ukraine, – said Freimut.

Olga Freimut continues to stay in London, although she admits that she cannot feel at home there.
“Living in London is like permanently living in a hotel. I can't feel at home there. But at least this city doesn't offend me, I don't degrade myself in it. I love London because I have many friends and an interesting environment,” the host shared.
Interestingly, Olga Freimut recently said that she has a dream – to bring back the program “Revisor” and make it new. But she did not specify in which country she would like to restore this show.
I really want to restore “Revisor”, because I miss it so much. My Zlata is already a girl at the publication, studying for two diplomas at the university in Los Angeles. The kids are not tiny either, they can manage on their own. And you can make a program that I love very much, – said Olga.
Sometimes Olga Freimut comes to Ukraine – she relaxes with her children, spends time in her favorite cities, and attends important events.
