More than 130 tons of humanitarian aid from Israel delivered to Ukraine

The Ukrainian-Israeli Association NEXUS, which is based in Israel, has delivered more than 130 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine since the beginning of the full-scale war.

ena Kondratiuk, the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

The Deputy informed that during her working visit to Israel, she visited the city of Netanya, where she got acquainted with the activities of the largest automated logistics hub in the country. It has become the "heart" of sending humanitarian and medical aid from Israel to Ukraine.

Kondratiuk thanked the NEXUS Association, which organized the fundraising and, in coeration with SAREL, is purchasing tactical first aid kits, turnstiles for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as well as medical equipment and tos for the Ukrainian healthcare system.

"Since the first day of the full-scale war, NEXUS has organized and delivered more than 130 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine," said the Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada.

According to her, it includes 45,000 tactical first aid kits, 80,000 CAT turnstiles, 12,000 bandages, food, hygiene items, baby formula and diapers, radio communication devices for the Armed Forces, more than 10 tons of equipment for hospitals and rescue services, and two ambulances.

"We greatly appreciate the contribution of Israeli business, philanthrists and vunteers, our community in the State of Israel to humanitarian efforts and ongoing assistance to Ukraine, which is suffering from Russian armed aggression," the Vice Speaker emphasized.

NEXUS is a team of professionals in various fields of business, culture, technogy, medicine and public activities who have united to support Ukraine and devel relations between the countries.

During her working visit, ena Kondratiuk also familiarized herself with the functioning of the civil defense system in the State of Israel.

As reported earlier, Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine ena Kondratiuk is on a working visit to the State of Israel.
