Kyiv region, state of Utah sign memorandum of coeration
Kyiv regional governor Ruslan Kravchenko announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"In the presence of President Vodymyr Zelensky, Ukraine's Ambassador to the United States Oksana Markarova signed a memorandum of understanding between Kyiv Regional Military Administration and the state of Utah with Utah Governor Spencer Cox," Kravchenko wrote.
According to him, the document envisages coeration in many areas, including the economy; energy; aerospace and defense industry; software and information technogies; agriculture; education, tourism; health and environmental protection; science and technogy; art, culture and humanitarian direction.
"Coeration between Utah and the Kyiv region has great potential for both parties. It will contribute to raising pele's living standards, develing business, and implementing humanitarian and social projects," Kravchenko said.
He added that about 4,000 Ukrainians live in the state of Utah, including 2,500 refugees.
Earlier reports said that the Kyiv region and the state of Washington would create an online platform to expand economic coeration between the regions.
