Discussions are ongoing on social media regarding the alleged kidnapping of Igor Komarov, the boyfriend of blogger Eva Mishalova. The information has not yet been officially confirmed, but new details and materials continue to appear regularly.

Telegram channels, in particular Instamania, are publishing a supposedly new video with Igor Komarov. In it, the guy addresses the girl, Eva Mishalova.

He asks not to believe the rumors about his death, which are allegedly being spread to stop the search.

No one will find me. I beg you, I need medical help. I'm starting to get infected. Talk to your family. No one is going to kill me. Time is very, very short,
– says Igor Komarov in the video.

In this video, Igor also shows a bandaged limb and again asks to transfer money to the kidnappers, because so far “no one has given a penny.”

The new video footage is being discussed again online. Some believe and sympathize with Igor, while others put forward their own versions and once again doubt the veracity of the video.

What is known about the situation?

  • Recently, a video of Igor Komarov asking for help spread on Telegram channels. He stated that a “serious organization” allegedly took him to another country and demanded $10 million, and that the guy himself was injured.
  • Public forums indicate that the guy was kidnapped by Chechens while on vacation in Bali (previously, blogger Eva Mishalova shared a photo from there). In another video, Igor Komarov says that he was the owner of one of the fraudulent call centers that allegedly operated thanks to the cover of some officials.
  • The story that has spread on social networks raises significant doubts. This is also emphasized by journalist Vitaliy Glagola. In particular, there were no appeals to Ukrainian law enforcement agencies, and Indonesian media did not publish such information – all this is quite atypical.
  • There is a version that the scandal is fabricated and is being used as a tool to promote the profile of blogger Eva Mishalova. The girl herself did not comment on the situation, and her sister reported that Eva is “having a very hard time right now.” Other opinions about the high-profile information drive are also being spread online. For now, it is important to wait for comments from official sources.
