Comic book writer Jerry Conway, who worked for Marvel and DC and was one of the creators of the Punisher in the Spider-Man comics, has died at the age of 74.
This was reported by the Associated Press. The date and cause of death were also announced.
On April 27, Marvel published a story announcing the death of Jerry Conway. He was 73 years old.
Now his wife has revealed the cause of the writer's death – pancreatic cancer. Conway last appeared in public in February of this year during an autograph session. At that time, he was very exhausted and suffering from a progressive illness, but he stayed for another two hours so that every fan in line could get an autograph and chat with him about comics.

Born in Brooklyn on September 10, 1952, he was a huge comic book fan since childhood. He began writing his own stories for comics at the age of 16.
He began working on full-length stories for Marvel in 1971. Conway wrote stories for many famous heroes, from Spider-Man to the Avengers and Iron Man.
