In Ukraine, there are 2,200 state facilities where internally displaced persons can be temporarily housed.

That’s according to the Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights, Ruslan Horbenko, who spoke in an interview with Ukrinform.

Horbenko added that a total of 2,200 such facilities have been designated throughout Ukraine.

"All of them (state-owned real estate – ed.) will become home, albeit temporary, for those displaced pele who need it. Currently, our citizens are actively evacuating Kharkiv region, and we understand that there are definitely locations where we can accommodate them," the lawmaker concluded.
