There are only a few days left before Ukraine will find out the name of its representative at Eurovision 2026. 10 Ukrainian performers and bands will fight for victory in the final.
The Eurovision Song Contest 2026 in Ukraine will take place on Saturday, February 7. This was reported by the Public Eurovision website.
On February 7, viewers will be treated to a special show of the National Selection for Eurovision 2026.
The pre-show broadcast will start at 6:00 PM and will be hosted by Anna Tuleva. She will talk about the journey of this year's National Selection participants – from their first steps to rehearsals and entering the big stage in the final. The pre-show will show the transformations of the musicians and their teams, as well as the significance of the National Selection for Ukraine today.
The broadcast of the final of the National Selection for Eurovision will begin at 19:00 . It will be hosted by Timur Miroshnychenko and Lesya Nikityuk. This is an unusual tandem, because if Timur is a permanent commentator at the song contest, then Lesya will be hosting the show for the first time.

The National Selection can also be watched in English on the Eurovision Ukraine YouTube channel. This is not surprising, because Eurovision fans from different countries follow the Ukrainian National Selection with great interest.
It should be noted that Public Broadcasting announced that it will also broadcast the National Selection with sign language interpretation in full-screen format. The songs will be performed by Lada Sokolyuk, Anfisa Khudashova, and Oleksandr Rudyk. The dialogues will be translated into sign language by Tetyana Zhurkova.
What is known about the National Selection 2026?
- Jamala is the music producer for this year's song contest. She and her team listened to hundreds of applications from those wishing to represent their country at Eurovision.
- The names of the nine finalists were announced on December 3. Later, Ukrainians chose the tenth participant from the longlist. So, the following will compete for the right to represent the country: Jerry Heil, LAUD, LELÉKA, MOLODI, Monokate, Mr. Vel, The Elliens, Valeriya Force, “ШчукаРыба” and KHAYAT.
- In the final, the winner will be chosen not only by the audience, but also by the judges. The jury includes the following artists: Ruslana, Zlata Ognevich, Yevhen Filatov, Vitaliy Drozdov, and Kostyantyn Tomilchenko.
